When the team at DLM are not picking up Christmas trees, they are specialists in the design, manufacture, repair and calibration of load cells and load monitoring equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Successfully\nsupplying load cells and equipment for more than 20 years, DLM have proven to\nbe industry leaders in finding a solution to load monitoring requirements.\nInternationally known for unprecedented high quality products, DLM are also recognised\nworld leaders in the design and manufacture of load pins for the Offshore and\nSubsea industries. In addition the company supplies both the Oil &amp; Gas industry\nand the Renewables sector, as well as the Lifting and Rigging industry. DLM\nhave been a key support for many sustainable projects including the weighing of turbine blades with DLM\u2019s latest TW3.0\nproducts at MHI Vestas local facility in Fawley, and designing and manufacturing\nbespoke load monitoring software for installation at the London Array Windfarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\nsmall family run business prides itself on a few core principles; a hard work\nethic, sustainable procedures and first class customer service. Late last year,\nDLM were asked to help and support in a mid-January fundraising event for\nMountbatten Hospice. Their Corporate Fundraiser, Rachel Rawlings, approached\nlocal businesses with large vehicles to help pick up Christmas trees from the\nside of the road all around the Southampton area. The dynamic team including\nManaging Director, Martin Halford, Operations Manager, Nick Fayle, and\nMarketing Assistant, Jodie Donelan, were all eager to show their support and\njumped at the chance of volunteering for the Hospice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over\nthe course of two days the DLM team drove all over Southampton showing willingness\nfor a great cause. Rachel Rawlings said \u201cthe team at DLM were invaluable last\nweek, helping with our first ever Christmas tree collection. They collected\nmore than 60 trees across 2 days, helping Mountbatten Hampshire to raise a\nfantastic \u00a31200, which will go such a long way towards supporting patients\ngoing through end of life care and their families from the local area.
